So tomorrow i’ll be on leave again to pay for school reservation. I thought the next step would be enrollment already but it is not. Which means i’ll be seeing more of UST. But it’s okay since i love to see my alma mater.

We went to our friend’s house the other day. My friend was at their swimming pool when we arrived. She was supervising the cleaning of the pool so while i was there she taught me some things about swimming pool maintenance. I’ve learned that they have installed Salt Systems which sanitizes the pool by creating chlorine from common salt that is added to the water. The Salt System has salt cells wherein as the water passes through the salt cell, electrolysis occurs which releases the chlorine from the salt.

Having a background in Chemistry i didn’t find it difficult to understand her explanation. However now that i know how difficult and costly it is to maintain a swimming pool i might drop the idea of having our own swimming pool in the future.

Yesterday was my husband’s 43rd birthday. Because we attended her niece’s baby christening and Church Sunday service, we were not able to celebrate his birthday as a family. Our friends in our Church were also waiting for invitation in his birthday celebration, so I just thought of giving him a surprise birthday celebration on Thursday after our bible study and leaders meeting.

Also, I wasn’t able to buy him a gift. I really wanted to give him a nice briefcase for men I’m sure he will like it, however I checked at the mall nearest to us but most of the briefcases there are not my husband’s type. Anyway in case I won’t be able buy that briefcase, I will just treat him with a great body massage. ^_^

In my post yesterday i have prayed for God’s protection for our country if ever the North Korean missile will be launced. But my outmost prayer is for a miracle to happen – that the launch of missile to be aborted. And guess what? The Lord answered our prayers! I know a lot of people prayed about it and thank God He listened.

Due to bad weather (which i believe happened because of divine intervention) have caused to stop the launching. Although they say it is just temporary, i know God is still in control of the situation. We will continue to pray until something happens.

For now i just want to praise God for His goodness and mercy!:)

I admire my friend who can still find time to do some gardening inspite of her hectic schedule. She’s also a working mom like me and has three children. Yesterday we went to their house and we saw her beautiful garden. Aside from the flowering plants, she also has fruit bearing trees like mango, guava, atis and jackfruit. I like her yellow plants the most, their bright colors make the surroundings glow even more. She has orchids and some imported roses and a small water fountain that added attraction to her garden.

Me and my husband are dreaming of a bigger place so we can also have a small garden with a nipa hut.. May God bless us and make our dreams come true, soon! ^_^

Being sick for three days is a not a good experience, having a painful disease at the same time is really terrible. I’m talking about my experience this past weekend, when me, my husband and friends was stricken by stomach flu or gastroenteritis. We had dinner with our friends last Thursday and then the following day we all had severe diarrhea, high fever, nausea and vomiting.

Because of my mobility difficulities my husband decided to bring down the top latex mattress of our bed in the living room so i don’t have to go up and down the stairs when i need to go to the bathroom. And he’s right, I did go back and forth to the bathroom that night, it was so frequent that i almost didn’t sleep anymore.

My friend lost her gold necklace when she went to Manila to visit her cousin. She can’t get over it because the necklace is very memorable to her. It was her husband’s first gift when he was courting her.

I remember i also had an unforgettable experience when i almost lost my gold necklace. I was riding a passenger jeep while on my way to a job interview. When the jeep stopped in an intersection, a guy suddenly pulled my necklace so hard but i was able to grabbed it fast. Luckily he wasn’t able to get my necklace.

I feel sorry for my friend. It is really hard to let go and forget if you loose something very important in your life.
