Steve Jobs  official biography is going to be released soon,  the book is  slated to hit store shelves on October 24, nearly a month ahead of schedule.

This the first time Jobs officially approved a retelling of his life. The former Apple CEO was well known for keeping his private affairs out of the public spotlight. The upcoming novel  The man behind the Mac is tells about Steve Jobs’  life and the history of his various business and personal milestones.

The biography is called simply Steve Jobs. The title may be simple but the book promises to be the most accurate life story of the man who built a tech empire. The book will carry a retail price of $35, but you can preorder it now through Amazon for just $17.88.

We have another sad news today. A ten feet high flashflood has killed at least 25 people, mostly children, leaving thousands of families homeless in five villages of Davao City.

According to report the search-and-rescue teams have recovered bodies from Matina Pangi (Samantha Homes), Matina Crossing Arroyo Compound, Villa Josefina, Teacher’s Village at Tahimik Avenue), Ma’a and Matina Aplaya (Ultra Homes Subdivision).

At 4 p.m. Wednesday, 19 fatalities were identified as Angelita Paches, 65; Alexander Baricuatro, 4; Jason Ataros, 3; John Michel Alvarez, 7; Rowena Balderosa, 7; Melchin Roseno, 2; John Carlo Alvarez, 3; Tito Servidad, 53; Dennis Ayag, 4; Pastor Jimmy Bao; Conchita Bao; Isadora Baricuatro; Antonio Inciso, 77; infant Chris Alvarez; Alexandria Baricuatro, 7; Beth Amatos, 7; Catherine Balderosa; Kassandra Supa, 2; and Carl Andrei Olivares, nine months old.

Social Welfare Secretary Corazon Juliano-Soliman said 25,000 families had been displaced. “As of June 29, 1 p.m., 1,475 families with 7,375 persons in the affected barangays have sought temporary shelter in four evacuation centers set-up in Central Park Gym, Matina Pangi, Matina Aplaya and Matina Balusong… 23,525 families with 117,625 persons who opted to stay outside evacuation centers are also being provided with food and non-food commodities,” she said.

Al and Tipper Gore have announced that they are separating after being married for just over 40 years. According to an e-mail that they released together, “After a great deal of thought and discussion, we have decided to separate. This is very much a mutual and mutually supportive decision that we have made together.” Telling friends that they’ve simply grown apart after being together for so long, others have also revealed that there was no earth-shattering moment that broke the couple up – no affairs or cheating or anything of the sort. Rather, the two began to create separate lives for themselves. Al Gore stayed on the road frequently with various projects and according to a friend, “Their lives had gotten more and more separated.”

The Gores were married on May 19, 1970 at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC. They exuded love and happiness during Gore’s time as vice president in the 1990s and then during the presidential campaign in 2000. The Gores also have four children, including Karenna, Kristin, Sarah and Albert III.

Al and Tipper Gore have been together since high school and, according to Al, their relationship was the inspiration behind the novel “Love Story.” They shared a kiss in front of the nation at the Democratic National Convention that was so long that it made those watching uncomfortable. But now, the couple, married for 40 years, have decided to split up.

I’s really sad to hear they didn’t survive and last longer. But who knows, it could be a start of a much better relationship between them.
