Gone are the days where ATVs were only for adults – they now have ATVs for kids and they come in various models and colors too! There are ATVs for all sizes and ages of people. You just have to make sure you select the right size for each of your children. Once everyone in the family has his/her own ATV, you’ll all be able to ride together. Then you’ll see how riding ATVs is truly a family friendly activity.

Anyway, in this time of crisis we can’t just rely on our current income, we have to be resourceful to have an extra source of income. A friend offered me to  try my luck in insurance marketing since she found success in selling insurance. I’m not experienced in marketing but they say ‘no guts no glory’ so i guess i might consider it for our family’s sake.

We watched the film entitled Fireproof, a love story about a firefighter and his wife. The wife, Catherine thinks that divorce is the only answer for them since his husband Caleb a fire chief, can save everything but their marriage. But thru Caleb’s parents help and a challenge from a book called “The Love Dare” brought Caleb to his knees. Caleb valiantly fights to reignite the flame of passion  to win back Catherine and restore their marriage. It was heart-warming, a very good movie.

Aside from the movie, we we’re inspired by the speaker’s message, it was an eye-opening. I’m thankful God  lead us to attend that seminar because if not, our married life could be in misery right now.

When he learned about the meeting he was really hesitant to attend, but i encouraged him and i’m glad he listened.

When he arrived home from the meeting he shared his experiences and observations. He said they discussed about the PTA association’s projects and activities lined up for this school year. There were deliberations during the discussion, some parents agree and some disagree on certain matters.To make the story short,  when i asked  husband on his opinion about the meeting, he said it was boring and that his attention was only focused on the netbooks he saw.^_^ Anyway inspite of not paying full attention he still managed to take note of the things discussed. It’s good he did because if not i will tease him to the max!:D

Anyway, a while ago i received a text message from the school principal informing all homeroom presidents that they have a meeting tomorrow. Hehe, I wonder how husband will react on this news. =)

That’s the price of being a working mom, i can’t  supervise and take care of them personally most of the time. It’s really a scarifice since i have no choice, life is hard these days and i must stay as a working mom for now. I’m just thankful that my kids understands our situation.

When i saw him i immediately noticed his new look, i even teased him that he looks taller and younger now. Actually it’s because he trimmed down, he used to have big belly. As i’ve mentioned in my previous post his life as an OFW was not easy, because of that he decided to go back home. Our parents were happy on his decision because they were too worried for him. Now  our parents were relieved from fear and stress.

But my brother said he’s not closing his door, he will try again and find his luck in another country. Well, I don’t blame him since life here in our country is getting more difficult nowadays.

By the way, i have to go now i need to buy a new  bathroom faucet, i can no longer stand the noise of water leaking from our defective faucet. Bye and happy blogging!

I know my brother had a difficult time while working abroad. It was not easy for him to find finance jobs during the first few months of his arrival in Dubai. It was only fortunate that my brother was with his brother in law, it was him who accommodate and helped my brother while hunting for job.

He just finished his one year contract and decided to go back home. The world economic crisis has affected a lot of companies in Dubai, so salary and benefits wise, he said the sacrifice is not worth it anymore. But his desire of working abroad again will remain he’ll just wait for better opportunity in the future. Well, I do hope my brother will find a better carreer and good future for his family at the soonest possible time.

Last night we had a heart to heart talk and again he admitted his mistakes and promised he would change for the better. Oh well, I hope he is true to his words. Right now I’m praying for God’s help so I can forget the ugly memories of the past and to overcome this emotional pain. And I hope this past experience will lead us to a new beginning in our married life.
