Pink toed tarantula

Have you seen a pink toed tarantula? If not then take a look at the pic below,

It’s distinguishing feature is that they have beautiful pink tip to each foot, no wonder why it’s called Pink Toed Tarantula. They are found in Guyana, French Guiana, Suriname, Venezuela, Brazil, Trinidad, Martinique, and throughout the Amazon Basin.

If you’re a lover of spider, you will like the beautiful and furry species of Pink Toed Tarantula,  they are available in dark black to metallic gray.  It’s fun to keep them as a pet. They are funny and they like to stay in groups. They don’t strike like other tarantula species. Pink Toed Tarantula can easily jump from your hand so whenever you keep them in hands handle them with care.

Typhoon Ondoy's aftermath

Typhoon Ondoy caused too much devastation in different areas in our country, as of this morning the death toll already rose to 240.

In its Tuesday 6 a.m. advisory, the NDCC reported the extent of damages that tropical storm “Ondoy” has so far inflicted on the country.

Reported dead: 240

Affected Filipinos:

According to news, the unprecedented flash floods brought by Typhoon “Ondoy” are seen costing businesses, households and the government large reconstruction requirements. Many houses and establishments were heavily damaged by flashfloods so construction supplies, home and office furniture will be one of the biggest demands in the next days or months to come.

Big enterprises with comprehensive property insurance like shopping malls are soon expected to file for damages. Other homeowners with property insurance can easily recover from the devastation unlike many households who are likely to be left on their own as most insurance policies kept by the average household, if they even have any, would cover only protection against fire hazards, analysts said.

For the poor and average family rebuilding their houses, recovering and starting all over again after this tragedy is really too much to bear. I pray they’ll find strength and hope in God amidst all these trials.

I’m watching ABS-CBN show Ruffa and Ai, I like their topic today which is about diet. They have a guest doctor well known Dr. Vicki Belo  discusses the newest and fastest way to loose weight It’s better than taking weight loss pills and safer than liposuction. It’s an injectable medicine which in a matter of three days the patient will get visible results. A celebrity guest testifies on its effectivity, Bing Loyzaga tried this new method and judging from her new looks now she indeed loose weight fast. She said she lost 20 pounds in a matter of one month. Hmm, if only money is available I would like to try it also.^_^

I’m happy for my friend because she was able to recover her cellphone which her husband left  in a sari-sari store the other day. She was so depressed when she told me about what happened, it’s the second time that she lost her cellphone, her first cellphone was stolen by his very own nephew! Sigh. I sympathize with her because I know the feeling of loosing valuable belongings. I was also a victim of cellphone snatching and it was indeed devastating because it was my first cellphone purchase. And guess what? the incident happened right inside SM Mall . It was really traumatic, so now I’m super careful with my bag and things wherever I am.

Husband and i had a misunderstanding last night that’s why I don’t feel well this morning, my heart is heavy and i don’t like this feeling. In times like these there’s no i can turn to but to my Savior alone, i just pray and entrusted everything to Him, then i just listen to gospel music to lighten my mood.

Cute little creatures

Below are my kids pet hamsters. My son is so fond of them, he took this picture using his sister’s cellphone. These cute little creatures brings joy to us: to my son and daughter they treat them as playmates, while for me they are sort of stress reliever, I like watching them play on their spinning wheel. That’s why everytime we go to the mall we never forget to drop by on pet shops to buy pet supplies for our hamsters. ^_^

Winter of my life

A friend sent this thru email, i believe it’s worth sharing so i’m posting it here. Be inspired today! :)

You know, time has a way of moving quickly and catching you unaware of the passing years.

It seems just yesterday that I was a young girl, just married and
embarking on my new life with my husband.

And yet in a way, it seems like eons ago, and I wonder where all the years went. I know that I lived them all… And I have glimpses of how it was back then and of all my hopes and dreams…

But, here it is…the winter of my life and it catches me by
surprise…How did I get here so fast? Where did the years go and where did my babies go? And where did my youth go?

I remember well…seeing older people through the years and thinking that those older people were years away from me and that winter was so far off that I could not fathom it or imagine fully what it would be like…

But, here it is…husband retired yesterday and he’s really getting gray…he moves slower and I see an older man now. He’s in much better shape than me…but, I see the great change…

Not the one I married who was dark and young and strong… but, like me, his age is beginning to show and we are now those older folks that we used to see and never thought we’d be.

Each day now, I find that just getting a shower is a real target for the day! And taking a nap is not a treat anymore…it’s mandatory! Cause if I don’t on my own free will…I just fall asleep where I sit!

And so, now I enter into this new season of my life unprepared for all the aches and pains and the loss of strength and ability to go and do things.

But, at least I know, that though the winter has come, and I’m not sure how long it will last…This I know, that when it’s over…I will enjoy the Spring in the arms of my loving Father…and wait for my loved ones to come when their winter is over too…

So, if your not in your winter yet…let me remind you, that it will be here faster than you think. So, whatever you would like to accomplish in your life please do it quickly!

For remember that scripture?…our life is but a vapor, it vanished away…So, do what you can today, because you can never be sure whether this is your winter or not!

You have no promise that you will see all the seasons of your life… so, live for the Lord today and say all the things that you want your loved ones to remember!!

In my previews posts, I blog about a site which offers quality and affordable patio furniture, I discover the site while looking for patio furniture for my cousin. Last week my cousin already bought the patio furniture she wanted from that site. I saw the patio furniture when we visit my cousin yesterday, I like its style especially the patio furniture covers she has chosen.

Now I also wanted to have patio furniture for our home, if only money is available I will definitely buy from the same store. ^_^
