Survivor Mom

I am saddened after hearing a tragic news about a child burned alive inside their house early this morning. I can’t imagine myself being in the same situation as the parents,i will feel like the end of the world for me. When you loose your properties through fire or natural calamities you may count on your home insurance to start a new life again. But loosing a loved one is the most difficult part of all, it seems there’s no road for recovery.

In times like this, we can only find peace, healing and hope through the presence of God in our lives. I pray the parents of that child will find comfort in the hands of our loving Father in heaven in this time of grief.

A few days from now it will be my nth birthday, am I excited? actually I have mixed emotions, I’m not that excited because of the fact that I’m getting a year older again and besides I will not be receiving loose diamonds as gifts from husband.lol Wishful thinking.hehe

Anyway I’m not really after the gift, having a loving, happy, peaceful and healthy family is all I asked from God on my birthday. Luxurious material things are not the true source of happiness in this world, they are just nice to haves.. we can live without them.
